Soon the site will look a little different, I hope this doesn’t startle anyone.

Nothing is disappearing, but a new layout and several new features are on the way. 

Here’s a clear overview of what’s coming:

Boards & Games

    •    You’ll be able to save boards from live games using a button that appears after the game ends.

    •    Saved boards can be replayed later or sent to other players or to all your Buddies.

    •    You can save up to 3 boards at a time.

    •    Board customisation is expanding: you can choose from different fonts and turn off pathway colours.

    •    Tournament matches will include a replay button, so you can watch how both players played.

Tournaments

    •    Team tournaments are being added alongside existing tournaments.

    •    In team tournaments, words score more points when multiple team members find the same word.

    •    Tournament matches will include a replay button. 

    •    Tournament medals will appear on profiles.

Layout & Navigation

    •    Activities and the lobby Chatterbox will be combined into a single sidebar, so you can open or close it as you prefer. 

    •    This sidebar will also include the dashboard, profile settings and login/logout buttons.

    •    Games, forum, high scores and tournaments will move to a separate sidebar.

    •    Notifications will appear at the top right.

Doodledum

    •    Doodledum will have its own page.

    •    You will be able to draw in full screen.

    •    Drawings can be commented on.

    •    You’ll receive notifications when someone comments on your drawings.

Notifications

    You’ll be notified when someone:

    •    comments on your drawings

    •    replies to your forum posts

    •    shares a board with you

    •    your tournament opponent plays their turn

This will also be where you can stay up to date with important site news.

Profiles

    •    Profiles will be customisable: click Edit to drag sections into the order you prefer.

    •    Profiles include charts of your live game data.

A premium version of Little Perks are on their way for those who need a smidge more. Custom rooms, extra shared/saved 

boards, extra displayed Doodles on your profile and the full Archives of all Daily Challenges for you to wade through in your own time. 

There will be a short tour of the new layout and features, so you don’t have to panic when it changes!
